This fast-paced workshop is designed to provide you with the fundamentals of writing and updating employee handbooks. You learn both the legal and practical reasons for employee handbooks, which policies to include and why, and how to keep it updated. Checklists and many ready-to-use sample policies will provide the framework for an effective handbook.

What You Will Learn:

-Compare purpose of handbooks and policy manuals.
-Address compliance issues within the handbooks.
-Avoid litigation traps.
-Process of implementation and dissemination.
-Understand the pros and cons of electronic handbooks.
